I visited Fr. Jose Bosch, SDB in Punta Princesa, Labangon. He was my Confessor and Spiritual Father when I was a high school student in Don Bosco Makati. I remember him writing me a letter. He addressed me as, “Brave Coloma, dear brave Coloma!” He was asking me to distribute the gazette he was regularly publishing.
One time during confession, I asked him, “Fr. Jose, I had been confessing to you almost every week the same sins. Do you remember my sins?”
“God doesn’t. So, I don’t. God loves you very much, brave Coloma!”
I left the confessional very happy.
And when I visited him in his parish in Punta Princesa last Good Friday, I stood in front of his grave saying, “Thank you. I do remember the times you reminded me of God’s love. Thank you, Fr. Jose!”
I was doing my laundry at the upper deck of Sacred Heart School when I took this picture. It was a good thing that there was a dryer there and a view that I found wanting to behold.
